My name is Nicola Dawn Flux (you can see why I don’t use my full name!!!!)and I'm the designer and creator of all the designs you see here. I’m a Scottish lass (from Edinburgh) who ended up meeting a kiwi, on his big OE and the rest, as they say, is history. Currently we live in a little place called Ashburton, a small (but growing) town in Canterbury, New Zealand. I have two gorgeous, handsome wee boys, who just get better with each passing day and a wonderful (tolerant) husband who has stopped asking where the family room sofa has gone (hidden under the pile of beads of course!!).

I have a wonderful life, and love what I do. I live, eat and breathe jewellery (ah maybe not eat - bit crunchy!!) I was born with the creative gene, and all my life art has been my passion, be it painting, acting or designing, it dominates my life.. I am inspired by everything around me, I see beauty everywhere, sometimes unexpectedly , and constantly have a million and one ideas swirling around in my head (probably why I lie awake until 4am most nights!!!!) My aim is to create beautiful “one of a kind” pieces of jewellery using great care and attention to detail, that make the wearer look and feel incredibly special. For the past two years I have been designing and creating jewellery and I am so happy to know that others enjoy my work as much as I enjoy designing and making it for them.
